Who we are

Folio Vault is a thriving e-commerce company that trades curated books from Folio Society. Books are carefully packed and shipped with ultimate care.

We have been selling on ebay since 2019 and we received Top Rated status, which means we consistently deliver outstanding customer service.

We also sell on Facebook, etsy, Instagram or directly to clients who contact us by email or social media.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the sales order processing, which includes:

• update the database

• pick books from the shelves

• purchase and print shipping labels

• pack the books very carefully and quickly

• drop off the parcels to a nearby location (400m away) using a small trolley if needed.

You will also have responsibilities in the cataloguing and preparation of books.

There is scope to expand responsibilities as you develop in the role. This may include supporting listing, and sourcing.

Skills

• absolute attention to details and accuracy

• Microsoft Excel including formulas.

• Pick-n-pack experience is a big bonus.

• Ability to occasionally move/carry heavy boxes (up to 20Kg) using a trolley.

• any experience with ebay or other online marketplaces is a big bonus

Location

You will be working from our offices in Surbiton, a few steps away from Surbiton station. Free coffee, tea, biscuits are available.

Salary and hours

£12 to £13 per hour, 4 hours per day in the morning (flexibility after 1 month), 5 days per week. If you can work a few hours on Saturday or Sunday, it would be a big bonus.
