The Role

We're looking for an organised and detail-oriented E-Commerce & Photography Assistant who enjoys following clear, repeatable processes.

Your primary responsibility will be photographing collectible books using a smartphone and our professional photo box, following our established photography standards. You'll then prepare products for sale on our Shopify website by uploading photographs, checking product information and completing listing details before they're published across our sales channels, including eBay. 

You'll gain hands-on experience in how collectible books are prepared, presented and sold online, from product photography through to digital merchandising and e-commerce operations. 

The core photography and listing tasks follow a consistent workflow, so we're looking for someone who can maintain a steady pace while delivering a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. If you're looking for a highly creative photography or design role, this position is unlikely to be the right fit. No previous photography experience is required, and no DSLR cameras or photo editing software are used.

There will also be opportunities to support other areas of the business, including order processing, packing books and inventory management during busy periods.

What We're Looking For

• Organised, reliable and highly detail-oriented.

• Comfortable following clear processes and carrying out repetitive tasks accurately.

• Confident using computers.

• An interest in books is a bonus, but not essential.

Location & Pay

• Location: Surbiton, Surrey (on-site role). Candidates must be based within 10 minutes of Surbiton.

• Pay: £12-£14 per hour (contractor position).

• Hours: up to 20 hours per week. Flexible working hours, provided agreed targets are met. Ability to work a few hours on weekends is a plus.
